My name is Sebastian Fijak and I have been running Lawiny.com - mountain school for over 10 years. If you are looking for some outdoor adventures, want to reach an alpine peak, or if interested in mountain trekking, you’ve come to the right place!

Mountain guide and instructor

I am licensed UIMLA International Guide and mountain guidance instructor. I have a valid Tatra National Park training license number 118/2022. I speak English and German fluently.

In my professional work I have led numerous trekkings, including: Tour du Mont Blanc, Jotunheimen Mountains, Bavarian Alps with Zugspitze, Pennine Alps (around Monte Rosa and Matterhorn), Stubai Alps, Corsica Mountains, Silvretta, Bernese Alps, Apennines - Gran Sasso d `Italia group (Corno Grande), Hohe Tauern, Dolomites - Central and Eastern, Brenta Dolomites.

I am the owner of the Lawiny.com - mountain school, where we train in the field of alpine tourism (including avalanche courses).

Member of the board of Deutsche Alpenveren - Katowice section (www.dav-kattowitz.eu). Member of the ICAR committee (www.alpine-rescue.org/)

I also regularly participate in international mountain conferences:

Tour leader, local/city guide

I have been working as a tour leader since 2006. I have the state guide qualifications.

I specialize in Scandinavia and Alpine countries (Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France) and of course Poland. I also navigate tourists through Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and Romania. I speak English and German fluently.
